«...This is an oil over acrylics painting. Doing abstract art like this piece allow me to reconnect with nature, to find back my roots with the small town where I'm born. There were plenty of trees and woods, and creating artwork with earth tones, tree texture and warm colors take me back to the time when I was sketching outdoor, sitting on the ground against a tree. Whenever I feel the urge to go back to my roots and take a break from figurative painting, these 'nature' gnarly abstract paintings are my ticket to freedom...»
