«...This is a painting I did of a high seas scenery. The sailboat is losely based on the famous USS Brit Niagara, based in Erie, PA. I've always loved spending time near the sea, sailing brings a lot of images to my mind. The large wooden sailboat are incredible vessels, this painting is a tribute to those man-made marvels. Having this painting done in a large format gives the viewer a sense of scale about the life on a sailboat...»
